Traditional Chinese Medicine
TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE
Chinese Medicine encompasses a range of healing practices that have been refined and developed for more than 5000 years. The practices comprising Chinese Medicine include Acupuncture, Herbal medicine, Tui Na (Massage), Cupping, Moxibustion (heat therapy), exercise (tai chi and qi gong) and dietary therapy.
Chinese Medicine theory is one of wholeness and balance. When a person is healthy, their energy flows and they are at ease. When their energy is out of balance and not flowing in it’s natural rhythm there is dis-ease. Every aspect of the patients being is taken into consideration when formulating a treatment plan, including their diet, movement patterns, environment, emotional and spiritual well-being, as well as their physical body aches, pains and discomforts. Chinese Medicine is an ancient healing art with the ability to treat a plethora of modern day issues.
